《Why Kamala Harris Lost The 2024 Election?》Charles Chiang
I understand that some of my friends dislike Donald Trump due to his way of talking. But when it comes to choosing a good President of the United States, there are other significant requirements we must consider beyond being outspoken. Don’t you think so?
At the beginning of the 2024 election campaign, almost all major media outlets optimistically expected Harris to win the race. Unfortunately, many of her weaknesses could not remain hidden for long under the media’s and voters’ serious examination. After her debate with Trump, her support declined. Gradually, more issues were discussed one after another.
For example:
1. When a reporter asked her which nation is the adversary of the U.S., her answer shocked most American voters because it’s considered common sense in the Western world. As a top U.S. politician, Harris answered “Iran” instead of “China.” This response contradicted current U.S. policy and Capitol Hill’s established stance on the issue.
2. Harris ignored the border crisis, leaving voters with a very bad impression of her “naivety and cluelessness.” An uncontrolled border not only increases fentanyl trafficking and criminal activity but also creates social problems and exacerbates national security risks.
3. Beyond these two main points, we’ve also heard some ridiculous stories from California. For example, there’s an unacceptable law that allows a robber or thief to illegally steal up to $950 worth of merchandise from a store without facing punishment.
We know that Kamala Harris served as the Attorney General of California for several years. However, during her time in office, her law enforcement record left much to be desired. No wonder that in 2021, when President Biden assigned her to address the southern border crisis, she accomplished nothing of significance.
The President of the United States holds a position of global leadership. As a world-leading nation, we truly need to choose a great leader—someone with the wisdom to lead, the courage to make tough decisions, and the loyalty to protect our nation and its citizens.
