2023 Taiwanese Heritage Society of Houston Appreciation and Fundraising Dinner

The annual fundraising dinner of the Taiwanese Heritage Society of Houston will be held at Taiwanese Community Center from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on November 11. This year, the fundraising dinner will focus on showing appreciation for our members. We want to express our gratitude for your long-term contributions and for working with us to support our center. After the severe epidemic, our organization has prepared a special event to welcome both new and old friends. The dinner will feature a wide array of delicious food, interactive games, and fantastic performances, with various prizes awaiting you. We warmly invite our members to join us and help fill the center with joy. Due to inflation, this year’s annual expenditure of the foundation is $120,000.
The appreciation and fundraising dinner will be held on-site. The fundraising meal vouchers are scored $50, $100, $200, $500, $1000, $3,000, $5,000, $10,000 and special sponsorship. The registration and donation methods are as follows (registration deadline 10/31/2023):

• If you have any questions, feel free to ask TCC’s board members, volunteers, or the TCC front desk manager.
• Students can attend free, please sign up online and note your student status.
  
  

As usual, those who sponsor more than $3,000 will have their names and placement listed on the donor recognition wall in our community center. Furthermore, your donation may be tax-deductible. Upon receiving your donation, an electronic receipt will be promptly sent via email to serve as proof of donation for your income tax return. If your employer offers a Matching Fund Program, we encourage you to make your donation through the program to potentially double the impact of your contribution. Once the payment is confirmed, we will send you the links to the fundraising dinner and the pre-event questionnaire via email one week before the event.
Adhering to its purpose, the foundation team collaborates with other communities, continually promotes Taiwan’s culture and the arts, and actively engages in community service. The foundation places a strong emphasis on its commitment to support Taiwanese American community. With your support, we strive to continue building a robust Taiwanese community center where everyone can gather, and to proudly promote the spirit of Taiwanese American serving communities everywhere. Our mission is to promote and grow our community that embodies the values of joy, diligence, and pride of the Taiwanese culture.
